    They prescribed another round of antibiotics (different type) as the current one wasn’t working and made her conditions worse. They now believe she has RLL pneumonia (right lower lope?) based on X-ray and blood results

    We have a local BBQ joint where you order at the counter at lunch time. I still tip those guys because all the other service is at your table, the food is good, the service is good and I'd like to see them stay in business and be successful.

    My engineer brain wants to, but I don’t. To me giving people change seems rude. And since I don’t give the “expected 20-25%”, doing math to round it out but not to the rate they want seems swinging-dick rude.
    I have dialed this back a lot. I give 10% (easy math) at a local Teriyaki joint that is family owned and are wonderful people. I give $2 for my $12 Jimmy Johns delivery b/c the young lady that delivers the sandwich is always on time and smiles (a very rare thing these days with all the kids around here). Other than that, cooking my food and handing it to me over the counter is not a “tip-qualifying” task.

    When I do tip, I very rarely go over 15%.

    I ate bacon today. It was in a bowl that also had sausage and eggs. I covered all of it in syrup. As long as the bacon was eaten at the same time as sausage or eggs it was palatable. 6 out of 10 wouldn't mind eating again.

    Don't worry I haven't given up :) got to get a little rowdy sometimes but I'm not falling off the wagon. Still haven't had anything from a drive-thru in like a month and only been at sit-down restaurants twice. I'm doing more of just changing my lifestyle rather than a specific diet. Still aiming for a calorie deficit but it's not the end of the world if one or two days a week I go a little over my goal.

    Oh I am certain you are right, but I don't need to lose weight super fast nor do I need to lose 100 lb so I'm fine with incremental progress. It took me roughly a year to gain 50 lb and that was eating like an out of control maniac so I'm fine if it takes a year to lose it. I still walk at least 1 mi if not two or three a day and my inflammation has gone down and my clothes are fitting better so I'm happy with how everything is going so far
