are the R/T01s 3PMS rated? Not that it's much, but I wouldn't run around here without at least that.

They are not. They apparently can’t make them soft enough to get the rating but they are pretty close

eh, they look boss but I wouldn't risk it with all the ice and snow we get.

Unless you get some snow tires for the winter and keep the Falkens for the summers....

Got a new set of falkens today. Had an appointment for Wednesday but they came in this afternoon and discount tire said they could get them done today if I came in. Was in and out under 45 minutes.

Also ordered a diamondback switchback. Found one in the outlet store with a scuff for a deal.

got a deal and ships in 3 days vs 40 for a new one.

One of my latches was bent out of the box, waiting on a replacement to arrive. Personally I’m not a fan of these latches and told diamondback they need a better design for trucks with bed rails

this is what I’ve come up with so far

going to switch to some different straps but these will work for now

Switched to some different straps that arrived today. Pretty happy with this now and it’s a lot more solid than the janky rear clamp system that came with it.

Hey, love your build progression and all the road trips you've done.

I'm working on an m1101 trailer build and plan to drag the family all over the country with it. I was thinking about a shake down trip on the trans Wisconsin trail and would love to hear your thoughts on if it's a worthwhile drive?

    Thanks!

if you are local, it’s definitely worth checking out at least the south section (Dubuque to Lansing). The middle is pretty much just a bunch of gravel roads. The north section is alright but you can pretty much just roam the upper peninsula and probably be just as good if not better.

Little paint campground is a good spot. It’s usually not too hard to find a spot since it’s a non-modern location (pit toilets). Sites 98,99,100 and I think 130 are all pretty nice and have tree cover and plenty of space.

Appreciate the info. We're in the Chicago burbs, but my wife has a friend in Waverly, ia and we met some people through her including a guy who's a Waterloo firefighter I got along with really well on a camping trip back in September.

Galena/Dubuque is pretty familiar territory for us, so that sounds like a good start.

    Thanks again for the info.

What's the size of the opening with the 2 sections folder over...tailgate up to stack? My rough measurements are about 32"

Curious if that will work for me and still allow to access my spare tire or if I should go with the HD... The Switchback just looks cleaner to me and is $450 less.

Let it sit outside all day. Started it up in the evening and now it’s completely fine. Ive done about 100 miles now with multiple key cycles and zero issues have returned.

guess ill just hope its a fluke and its now fixed
