I’ve been dealing with a nightmare with my 08 Tundra. It keeps going into limp mode and I had 3 different mechanics try to fix it and no luck. First I had the code P2442 code. Supposedly fixed and it was good for a little while and then months later dash lights come on and I get P02445. I don’t know what possibly went wrong. My truck accelerates poorly and feels stuck in a gear. I went to different shops rather than the dealer. I’m not looking to spend too much $$$$. Many told me to try the bypass. I do not live in an area that does emissions inspection.
