Hi, I am looking at an 07 Tundra with 269k for 10grand. Should I stay away from a truck with that many kilometres?
    Thankyou

Based on the info provided? 4.7, 5.7? Base model, SR5 or fully optioned? Reg can DCab Crew Cab? Any maintenance records? Is it beat? Kids? dogs? Smoker? Ontario/Quebec truck? Alberta commuter? Or is the guy 83 yrs old and drove back and forth to Arizona?
Mileage really isn’t the decider on a Toyota when any of them can go an easy 500K with reg maintenance.
    Answer - No
BTW I just sold my ‘07 Reg cab long box 4.7 SR5 for $10,500. And I figure the guy got a good deal.

How far are you from seeing it? Real salesman this guy. It will be 5 speed truck. No real mileage advantage to the 4.7 as far as economy. I found my 4.7 ran smoother than my new 2010 5.7. Price is reasonable considering mileage on the motor. Timing belt replacement info is mandatory. If it’s not been done, that’s a solid $1200 to pay someone to replace. You can do it yourself if you are up to it but it’s not for a first timer mechanic to get his hands dirty.
You need interior pics with speedometer / odometer. Seat conditions, electric or manual? Make sure all the blender doors within the air conditioner system work. Cycle the dial from defrost all the way back to other end heater mode, slowly - make darn sure all those doors move the air the way they should and you can hear them moving. Make sure the AC works. Even if it’s -20C turn the ac on and make sure it’s cold. Check the condenser and radiator - open the hood and look for leaks.
Basically it’s a fair price now make sure it’s a deal and not you buying a headache.
