I am in the market for an older high mileage gen 2 platinum sequoia. Planning out some mods and debating whether or not to lift with a tandem off road set up. Anyone know if I can fit a 275/70/18 (33.2”) tire with the stock platinum suspension? I would likely be going with the method 316 wheels. Thanks!

Yes, those tires fit. Stock suspension can fit 34tall, 11 ish wide stock, so 285/70-18.

However, all that can depend....that is with stock offset +60 wheels. Less offset on the wheels push the tires out and so you can rub on front bumper area or rear fender/body mount area/mudflap.

Those methods will have less offset and depending on the offset, even stock size tires could rub, just depends on how aggressive the offset is. You should be ok with about +25 offset or greater with 275/70s

Hundreds on pages of builds, info, pictures in the wheel and 2.5 gen forums.

and this tool is helpful when trying to understand offset and different wheels fitment https://www.customwheeloffset.com/tire-wheel-backspacing-offset-calculators

Thank you much for the reply. Very helpful and what I was looking for. Looks like most method wheels for sequoia have +18 offset so I’ll look at some other options.

I did the Eibach front and the Tandem off road air ride lift in the rear, I'm running 295 70 18 with Methods (25mm) no problem.

Looks great! Is that 1.75” or 2.5” lift?
