Ive got 2015 im trying to diagnose a TPS issue. I tried briefly to disconnect the ECM but being unfamiliar I stopped as I thought I was gonna break it. I see a lever which i could rotate which seems to unlock the connector but then how do i disconnect it? does it pull straight out, down and out, at an angle idk? appreciate any help thanks

What’s the plan if you get it unplugged? Why not just unhook the battery and ground out the system to have it lose power?

welp....i was hoping for the answer to my question but it looks like ill be further clarifying my issue to you azboathauler instead. My throttle is showing wide open putting me into a limp mode. Im isolating the issue, either the wires going to the tps or the ecu having issues. again either way id like to disconnect the ecu to verify. do you know how this is done?

Ha - definitely the least Hawaiian interaction I’ve ever had. I won’t bother you any more - good luck to you!

Fixed. Turns out my ecm lever was broken. After using the lever on the bottom connector and seeing it walk the connector out I realized the issue.
