I like the chrome delete, but I just painted my parts but its really nice not having chrome. I like having the remote start but its not something I use a ton.

Really... it comes down to your preference both of those are things that can benefit you but only you know how much the chrome bothers you or if you would really utilize the remote start enough to make the the item to go after.

There are tons of things to buy, this forum will only help you spent more then you would like

 

I love the honesty I was thinking of just painting them
and I also don't know if using remote start is beneficial for me since its not cold here in socal.
I just bought a daista head unit going to install that but I was thinking of getting something else for cyber mondauy

 

That's tough..
I use my Compustar remote start every time I walk to the truck to hear my @dirtydeeds BAM.
But I also have the DRONE app that monitors my truck.



But I enjoy my AJT dash chrome delete the entire time I'm in the truck...



It's a damn shame he can't sell these anymore..

 

What is the drone app?and damnit I was trying to deciede between the two not get two at the same time lol

 

It's a subscription app for my Compustar alarm/remote start.
I'll check it when I go to bed to make sure the alarm is armed, use it to remote start the truck from ANYWHERE (I have a cell signal), and it sends me a notification of a stage 1 or stage 2 alarm going off.
Nice to know it's going off if I'm near the truck.
But it didn't help when it went off when they stole my catalytic converters and I was 200 miles away...

I just have the basic subscription.

In all honesty, if I hit the lock button before I go to bed I can hear the horn honk and I know it's armed.
But my key fob works from well over 1000 feet...

 

See, im not good with painting and im weird about keeping oem parts the way they are.. so i get replacement parts, like ajt, to replace the oem.. i dont like to mess up the oem parts.. but that’s just me.
I also have the remote starter with dronemobile and uses all the time. Especially now that’s cold out.
So i guess it’s depends on what you like, cold weather warrant remote starter, imo..

 

Chrome delete is nice, but having the remote start functionality isnt an appearance only item.

Id always opt for function over appearance items in spend.

I like to keep my OEM parts too, and I'm not painting interior stuff.
One scuff and I'd be pissed I didn't get the molded parts.
But I've given away most of my OEM dash parts.

The audio and stuff I'll put back in when I sell or trade the truck.
Maybe...

 

Same, i tend to return the vehicle back to stock as much as possible before sending it off.. if i can use the parts, audio, on the next vehicle i will. Reuse. Reduce. Recycle. Lol
