hardly. maybe just the tiniest bit louder only because it dumps underneath the truck now instead of out the back but I dont really notice a difference

    Lots of stuff!
I have a similar size of the same tire on my truck. I had 295/60R20 Toyo AT3's on the Tundra and now 295/70/R18 AT4's on the HD. In the first few hundred kms, they are nice and quiet.

Changed oil, rotated tires, and put some power stop rotors n pads on the front bc I didn’t want to wait for tsb parts to come in. Only one stop at O’Reillys for some caliper spreaders!

Nice! What did the pads and rotors set you back if you don't mind sharing? (Hope you didn't forget any caliper bungee cords.) :D

I did forget them on that side but remembered once I went over to the other side lol. I got the power stop set K8932-36 on Amazon for $270ish bc they were on sale. Looks like they still are on sale. I had good luck with the same set on my grand Cherokee before this truck so I figured I’d give em a shot. If I did it again, I’d probably do Napa rotors for like $100 (that’s what they were for ultra premium rear rotors) and power stop z36 pads for like $80. Im hoping that the drilled n slotted rotors will dissipate heat better than stock since my oem rotors warped a decent amount in only 50k miles, but this truck was a rental previously. OEM pads were somehow at 7.5mm but I figured they’d be toast after being paired with warped rotors for so long. I’ll post an update sometime next year when I’m at like 70k miles.

Falken AT4W’s on the blue one has a 2” factory lift

Toyo AT3’s on the black one with a 1.75” levelling kit.

    -34” outside diameter for both!

Took it to Cotopaxi Co for Thanksgiving.

Got to one section of the trail all snowed in with little to no chance of making it in my own but the rest of it was maybe 6” and had zero trouble. Fun trip overall.

I ordered these about 12 weeks ago and still don't have them. All of my research says they'll fit great. One other user (not sure who) had em and they looked good!

    My tonneau cover broke :(

Anybody dealt with retrax cs or is there a retrax rep on here?

edit: emailed retrax. We’ll see what they say.

Edit 2: They are sending a new roller cover since the slats were damaged somehow.

New tailgate cap from Ecoological. Wasn't a fan of the black trim on my Platinum. Have slowly replaced it all and this was the last piece.

Looks good man. I am slowly removing some of the black as well on my Platinum and this looks right up my alley.

Well. Made it back in one piece. Even after the snowstorm in Kansas City. Truck towed the car through it all. Made it back after 1800 miles. Averaged between 13 to 15mpg towing at 70 mph. 20241201_163103.jpg

Just installed my new Toyota Bedmat. Was a tough install ;)

Also bought and installed the Dongar adaptor to the dash cam. Neat that instead of using a y adaptor, since these things can be installed with a factory dash cam, the adaptor just plugs into the cam plug and converts it to USB. Fairly simple install. Now no wires hanging down to the cigarette plug.

Well, I got worse mpgs on hwy comuting... I do have 2 inch lift and 35inch tires but still hard to believe in 15mpg towing a car, I'm getting less on hwy with some wind behind me lol

Added TRD Pro center caps...the extra touch of red ties into all the other red tidbits on the truck nicely.

    Less than $10 a piece was a no-brainer!PXL_20241201_221416167~2.jpg

I used Tow/Haul the whole way except in the Ozarks. Did manual shifting there to maintain better RPM range. I'm quite pleased with how she did.

Replaced my Rough Country LED bar with a budget-friendly yellow light bar from Amazon—10x more light output now! It looks like a beast in the dark.

    Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097R96R4S

Note: I had to modify the light bar slightly to make it fit by cutting some of the cooling fins on the back using a grinder with a cut-off wheel.
