I'm assuming you have the OE JBL with wired CarPlay, and if so this is a great little dongle that will convert the wired CarPlay to 'wireless' and resolve a bunch of connectivity issues, etc... it also has a 'coupon' that you can click on for another $30 off right now, which makes it under $50

Depends on the trim and package. Your profile doesn't say what you are driving so we don't know if you have them or not.

 

I have been looking for something to give me CarPlay, does this work with a 2018 as well? Or is this some fancy piece for the new models??

 

It will not add CarPlay to a head unit that doesn't already have it (I don't believe yours does); it just allows for a 'wireless' carplay function between the phone and vehicle via the dongle...

If your vehicle does not have wired CarPlay you'd need to swap out the head unit for one that has it.

Every time I drive my 2020 I use my FRAC front camera, an absolute essential produced by @TundraTex. He can tell you who produces them now. I do not park without it.
Interior LED and brake, backup, etc lights are a must. LED light bar in the grill is nice. Then eliminating chrome by replacing or covering makes it a nicer truck in my book.

 

Uh, yeah, we knew it was LEDs once you said it was one of the TRDs. Both include the LEDs. I was just asking which of the TRD packages you had because you didn't originally specify.

Trd rear sway bar, hands down.

And for the discerning gentleman in high etiquette situations...

 

@Dukhnt now that we know what kind of truck you're in we just need to know what your use case is.

1. Do you do much off roading? Do you plan to? If so, then armor is an easy choice. Rock sliders are worth their weight in gold if you get ones that will support the weight of the truck.
2. Do you already have color matching parts for the front of the truck? If not, and if it appeals, the grille with surround and the hood bulge are a great option.
3. Any interest in new wheels? SCS has some nice options and they'd be around your 1K budget.
4. If you stick to the pavement then a rear sway bar would be a great addition.
5. Do you have a spray in bedliner yet? Can't go wrong with that one.
6. Katzkin seat covers could make it feel a bit more luxury inside, if that trips your trigger.
