Found a RCSB near me, trying to post pics. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/cto/d/la-mesa-toyota-tundra-sr5-2wd-clean/7798560404.html Going to check it out this coming week. Does anybody know this truck? What do you think of asking price? Looks great, but no exactly what I want I really want 4X4, I also think it's priced high. Also seller will not send the car fax or the VIN and tells me to drive the 4 hour drive before he will release that info or give me the car fax, seems scammy.

Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
I would skip it. Not 4wd and you will regret that considering you want a 4wd. Keep looking.

Thanks frichco228, guess I'm just getting impatient looking for a RCSB 4x4. Don't want a rusty one, but the search is taking so long. As others have said few and far between these trucks!

If you want a 4wd then wait for a 4wd. Carfax is only for when you are committing to the vehicle and its' game time.
Aside from maintenance records get your own for the few dollars it costs. Ironically I got carfax 6 months after I bought
mine to find out it had a police reported incident for $5800. I need permission for police report and or insurance claim report
and trying to find owner of truck at that time. I wonder if this was an exaggerated amount as I looked it over carefully
and quite frankly can't find evidence of this claim. Weird. But do your Due Diligence!

Good points Cruiserpilot, I need to back off and wait for a 4x4. I have a story about a car fax. I went to check out a 1st gen 4x4 double cab-super clean and a good deal. Met the seller and had $14,000 in my wife's car with me. I asked for the car fax and he said here it is, it was 1 page of the 3 and I asked for the other 2 pages and he said sorry but you don't need those and I lost them anyway (thinking I'll run my own carfax on my phone before I hand over the cash). So I checked out the truck-super clean and seats were new, which I thought for a original truck with 97,000 miles that was odd. Seller said he GrandPa left him the truck and he needed money. Anyway went to get ready for the test drive and pulled on the seat belt which was frayed, stained and dirty (I'm thinking WEIRD!), so before I went for the test drive I'll run a my own car fax. WTF my car fax said 7 owners and last milage reported was 379,000 plus miles! Showed to the seller he said that was screwed on the car fax and I said sure, he beat feet and drove away. Saved me from getting ripped off. Always run a car fax before handing cash IMO. I have a friend who would have kicked his azz for wasting his time, I just figured it was a lesson learned if it wasnt for the frayed seat belt I may own a POS with a bunch of miles.
