Tow package took the brunt of the force. Make sure they inspect that with a fine tooth comb.

Super glad you're not hurt, but DO see a doctor, get some x-rays, etc. I'm not talking about anything to do with getting money, but make sure anything that could be wrong due to the accident is recorded. Some things take a few hours, days, or even a week or more to present themselves.

At this point, you're going to be faced with a number of things. I doubt it's totaled. As somebody stated, most will total if damage is > 75% of current value. It doesn't look like it is. But I'm not a body person, so there could be more. Frame integrity is key here. If it's bent, straightening isn't what I'd be after. If it's not, it may actually help you out. If you have a local body shop that is reputable (ask around on local Facebook groups) and will work with you, you could likely get a bit better than stock, as far as the bumper and fender flares are concerned.

Some insurance companies (Farmers/State Farm, others?) don't allow the use of aftermarket parts. If your insurance is better than the other person's (assuming she was at fault, and was cited, which seems obvious based on the circumstances you mentioned, and the photos), the other company has to go with your insurance company's standards. Push for OEM parts, get quotes, and then see what you can upgrade. Stock OEM bumpers could cost more than a new beefed up aftermarket bumper. Diminished capacity money could augment that and get a new front bumper as well.

Fender flares have to be painted a certain color. If you want color matched, ask if they could do the fronts at the same time they do the backs. Most body shops can work with you on your insurance money, and may discount added items since they're already mixing a batch, and have the spray booth booked.

Lots of options. I agree that if there isn't structural damage, you should keep the truck. Build it out how you want, and enjoy it. Again, glad you weren't hurt!

I like the idea of keeping the truck. And I like the idea of getting the fenders color matched as well!

Man, that sounds like a close call! I had a similar situation where I got rear-ended by a car going much faster than expected. My truck seemed fine at first glance, but the damage was more than I realized once they got it up on the lift. The undercarriage had some significant damage that wasn’t visible until it was all taken apart. Luckily, I wasn’t at fault, and I reached out to a Tulsa Car Accident Attorney who helped me with the insurance process and made sure I got a fair settlement. They were able to get the repairs covered and handled all the back-and-forth with the insurance company.

I watch TV show called Highway Thru Hell. One night a flagger sitting in a parked Tundra got rear ended by a fully
loaded semi at highway speeds. The Tundra drove home. That's why I bought a Tundra.
Sell the wreck, cause no matter what it looks like now - its a wreck. Get a new truck & make sure it's a Tundra.

My last truck was rear ended from a driver doing 25, I was stopped. Did not look anywhere near as bad as your. I had almost $10k repair cost with zero structural damage and almost no paint work, just bolt on replacement repairs. That is a $20k repair….

One way to get faster repairs or total declaration is by checking the box for a rental car while you're waiting for the repair or replacement check. Costs a little more but it gets rid of the wait...
