Someone in my life knows what she wants. She just wants to tell me every other day, and it’s already arrived. Fine let’s call it a bonus/incentive and we’ll hit the fake order button.

 

For me, today and Friday are paid holidays.
But years ago the company demanded everyone work the Friday after Thanksgiving.
So that Friday, we get 8 hours straight time holiday pay plus then time and 1/2 (or double time) for all hours worked Friday.
Many a year that day I made well over $1K, which helped pay for Christmas.

But for the last few years I've been taking this week off.
So it's a 45-hour straight-time vacation check with 16 extra hours of straight-time holiday pay..
Not a bad check either and I missed the holiday traffic..

Muscle through - pun intended. I can't run anymore due to a janky old spine, but a 3 mile walk might no be a bad idea after a belly full of food...

 

Yes, my bad on the serious/not serious, just playing around. I do have a real leg day but it’s not today. I worked out a new schedule a month ago that’s three days on, one day off. Today is a rest day. I was pretty sure you were serious though.

 

I don't know what kind of voodoo magic Costco does with the turkey in their Thanksgiving meal but it turned out great. The overall meal tasted great and I would only make 1 change if I did it again. I would pull out the green beans and saute them with diced bacon and red pepper flakes to jazz them up a bit.

I think I'm going to get 4 days of food out of this.

 

Just took the pups for a 10 minute walk.
I'm good for the day..

 

That's a terrible idea there's football on the tv

 

The Barrel was decent as well.
The smoked breast was unexpectedly tasty. The green beans were a bit odd; they seemed to have a hint of cloves and were definitely cooked with some type of fat.
Everything else was ok
