Do I understand correctly that you used the bolt that holds the bed to the frame as your hold down for the support block?

No, but that would have been freaking smart. I was dead set on having a way to unbolt the support independent of the bed bolt, but that probably would have made things a lot easier. If I didn’t already have 5 damn holes punched through the bed I’d get started on v3.0 of the mount bracket lol

Sometimes you just keep measuring and cutting. I know you’re just jealous of all the weight reduction I’ve done.

Okay... you probably posted in another thread. On page 56 you get the Ironman bumper installed but it's the stock fasteners holding the top plate. Page 57 your wife had it detailed and you now have all black hardware.

You got a link to said hardware or the post were you talk about it?

Those detail guys did a killer job on the bolt heads, right?

I probably forgot to post it. It’s just some basic 1/4” button head bolts and flange nuts from Amazon

man I reallllllly want to copy this. I had mine mounted on my spare tire mount but now changing stuff around and trying to figure out how to bolt to my bulkhead side of the bed.

is that steel piece custom fabbed?

I already reinforced my bedrail but trying to figure out how to raise up the jack mount for clearance.

    any issues offroad?

I used this for the support and cut out an inch on the left to clear the pinch weld/bed rib and about 1.5” in the middle to clear the bed bolt… but now I’d do it a little differently after @Dsptundra made his comments lol

The chunk of tube gives the perfect amount of clearance to get the wheels off the floor

I’ll tell you after Friday how it holds up off road. It’s solid though. I don’t anticipate any issues.

I see you are a fellow cheese-bed-tundra connoisseur in AZ. My previous setup was rad but I needed bed-space back. So swapped to the Prospector look. This has been amazing so far offroad so hoping your jack mount idea will work for me.

Installed some new Christmas gifts on the vessel today (and maybe some a little early…): second 5150 whip with new controller, AlphaRex Nova tail lights, and Lasfit floor mats.

Wiring for the whip was done last week and I waited impatiently to open the actual whip today. The new controller is much nicer with an updated app. It doesn’t have as many out of the box animations, but it allows you to do some pretty cool custom stuff. I made a 2-tone blue “breathing” effect to test it out.

New AlphaRex Nova tail lights from @memario1214 got here a couple weeks ago, but I needed to wash the truck before I could show them publicly lol

Lasfit floor mats were thrown in too. They need a day or two in the heat to get them to lay flat, but they’re pretty nice on the fit and finish.
