I'm glad you posted the examples with the explanation because I'm pretty sure @Fotnot has no concept of what "flaccid" means.

I didn’t give them the option. Their only request was a dimmer for the shower light. White outlets and switches are probably at least half the cost if we found a gray that wasn’t too light or too dark, and a husband and wife can agree on.

Got up- hit HD (for the one millionth time) and avoided the Milwaukee aisle.
Picked up a new motion sensor switch - $40
    Knockdown texture - $28
    Sanding sponge - $3?
A box of my favorite drywall anchors - ??

    $80 later.
    Put new sensor switch in
Finished the small area of texture from when I had to hang new shelves in the bathroom. Once it dries, I’ll add touch-up paint over it and I’m freaking done with other bathroom.

I have to install, and setup my daughter’s new desk with a built in vanity mirror, outlets in her desk etc.

I still need to organize shit into thepackouts that have been sitting in my garage. Been a busy ass weekend

This was a royal PITA to piece together. Finally, done. Once she’s home, and determines where she wants it, I’ll mount it against the wall.

Today, we re-homed the last of the 16 peafowl that were voluntarily living on our property. This means this coming weekend I can pressure wash my deck, take down temporary fencing around most of my flowers and plants in the yard, and get my wife’s car detailed…

Small project, made a frame for the tv. I saw this style were selling for 400-500$ or more and thought it was crazy. Used two pieces of 16$ picture frame trim and I think it really makes it look like a picture haha.

Those Frame tv's are super impressive. I setup my parents with one for the kitchen. Unfortunately the wall we mounted it on has a pocket door to it, so we couldn't do a recessed box for the controller unit.

I actually really like the non-glare coating on them. I was thinking of getting one for our outdoor tv (under a patio cover)....watching tv outside can be a pain for glares.

I've been sidelined with an injury for several months and the garage was driving me insane. We basically moved into the house and then a few weeks later I got hurt. Last weekend I put my daughters boyfriend to work helping me move stuff around so I can at least walk around in it. Now I just need to start putting things away and getting my cabinets mounted. Also need to figure out what I'm going to do to store all the bikes.

I hang all my mtn bikes from the ceiling using a pulley system mounted to a beam. Your ceiling looks kinda low though? I've also seen racks that swing out from the wall so you can have them organized there as well. https://storeyourboard.com/products...b_rH_bavPuu1IelJKFku23SLKqhtfT5saAlwjEALw_wcB

The picture might be deceiving. The ceilings are pretty high at 14-15'. Look at the freezer on the right side for reference.
I had the hanging pulley systems for my bikes at the house I had before my last one. That might be the correct way to store them here as I have the height.

Does replacing burnt Christmas tree lights count?

Last year I had to replace about 100 and I can only assume we got some power surge or something. Down side is a few things, I hate the look of LEDs on a tree so these are incandescent (I think?) so one dead light sometimes takes out a few lights and not always sure which one is actually dead. The other downside is I can’t find the correct bases to just plug and play so the ones I ordered I ended up having to pull the bulbs outta both bad base and new base and but the bulb back into the old base. Just more time but for now all lights work!

I guess I could've paid more attention to the shelving above the garage door for reference.

Is it really 14’-15’? That’s wild. I was guessing it is 11-12’ high.

I had originally been using the Racor B-1R for vertical hanging, started with one row of 5 spaced ~18" apart, then started a second row 12" lower on the wall. It doesn't look like Racor is making this product anymore, but this Leonardo rack is $7.92/ea on sale, with a 15% off coupon dropping it to around $7 and is nearly identical to the Racor in its form/function: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FGTTEW/

Maybe it's just a Black Friday deal, MSRP is $20. So may not stay at that 3-for-1 pricing for long.

2024 70SR. I love this thing. It will annoy you if you are trying to do hurricane cleanup, but it is perfect for the homestead and the 1500 truck.

What a wild couple of weeks.

Christmas is getting closer on the inside to being done to include the fake presents for little mans photo shoot. Should be interesting. We decided to skip presents for each other this year and bought a nice tree instead. It will be our first Christmas in our new home, let alone with our baby.

They ordered the wrong downspouts and said they would come back to put brown ones on, but we decided to go with white since once day we are going to white metal or hardiboard siding.

So for now, happy the deck will stop taking the beating it was.

Plus your local taxes/prep and all that. What sold me on it out the door was they have a strong national presence for support, built in battery tender, long control cable and stout compared to the others I looked at. I added the Amazon tarp system, saving hundreds.

A little extra custom work today. Stenciled out a couple logos for a law firm in their community warehouse. These are 15 ft high. A future one is going on the floor.

Like Fidelity, the finance company? Or a cybersecurity company/technology oriented. It’s something that I’ve worked with directly in my career, or done a deep dive/contract with. Seriously kicking my ass. Definitely seen it before. Don’t think it’s music related, but possibly something I’ve seen on one of the DnB records in my vinyl stash.
