I gutted a deer on the tailgate of my truck. Lots of blood. It went down not just below the liner panel, but into the locking mechanism recess and then into the plastic trim piece that runs along the top of the tailgate. I have put so much water in to try and rinse it out, but there must be a lot and it must have coagulated. Every time I try to rinse it and think I have it all, I go out the next morning with blood streaking down my tailgate. I can see the plastic anchors that hold this piece on, but they don't look like they will reinstall well. Has anyone ever taken this piece off? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the video! I think I see now why it is not rinsing well, with all those little separated compartments in that plastic piece.
