How to get stains out of Diamondback cover?

I put a deer on top of the cover for transport to the processor. Blood everywhere. It’s been weeks and I still can’t get the brown stains out. I’ve tried Dawn soap with a scrub brush, pressure washer, citrus soap. It won’t go away.

Diamondback’s suggestion was “clean it just like your truck”. Clowns.

Any ideas? Simple green maybe?

 

Diluted peroxide or diluted baking soda (1 part chems to 2 parts cold water) is great for removing blood stains. We won't talk about how I know this.

 

Have you tried Iron X? I know it's recommended in the detailing thread for the specs of rail dust from shipping. Iron in the blood might be what is staining.

 

Thanks for the info guys. I did the 1 part baking soda to 2 parts water and it made a big difference. I can still see a hint of a stain remaining but if I didn’t know what to look for it wouldn’t be noticed. I’m going to try it again next time I wash the truck and see what happens.
