    They pump in the sound of a V8 so it doesn't sounds like a weed wacker. Ford started doing it in 2015. I missed out with my 2014.

    Honestly, I don't care. The quieter the better. I don't need it sounding any louder than it needs to be as I climb a mountain with a trailer. The V6 just makes a light hum.
