I'm wanting to upgrade the front turn signals to LEDs on my 2011 Rock Warrior that I just got, recently. It's my first vehicle with DRLs. My '97 Tacoma does not have them. What's the opinion on color or even deleting them? Most vehicles have white DRLs, but for whatever reason Toyota uses amber. What's all of your recommendations, amber, switchbacks or just deleting the DRL? If keeping the DRL, how many lumens should the LEDs be?

My opinion is keep the amber DRLs. The 2nd gens look great with ambers. But switchbacks are all the rage right now.

    I like the amber myself.
Looks like your DRL and turn signal share the same bulb filament and the parking light is the other one.
You'd need to check your state laws on what color the front turn signal needs to be, in Texas that must be amber.
If that is the case a switchback isn't going to work.

I'd certainly go with an LED bulb although you may need resistors to prevent hyper flash.

Mine is 2014 with the 2018+ OEM LED headlight upgrade, but I kept my amber DRLs.
