I have no question, making a statement about common ABS issue talked about on here. With no real solution posted. I don't know how much time I spent trying to fix this Pic 3 is saying its normal operation! Thats crazy to me. I did an entire rear axle/ diff swap on truck shortly after getting it. Due to previous owner backing boat into lake/swamp/gulf, the abs wasnt working after this but it never bothered me. While doing tune up and concidering trading it in for a 4runner, i knew abs light would be a problem. So while fixing abs and brakes. I ran into same issue so many people on here were never able to figure out and ended up disconnecting it. Stumbled across this in my manual saying ABS acting that way to normal! I find it hard to believe but there it is in black and white and yellow. Still can't believe that its functioning correctly. Glad I spent all that money and time to end up pulling a fuse.

Is it randomly engaging? We have a thread dedicated to ABS solutions. Typically the problem is bad O-ring, improperly seated sensor, someone pressed the tone ring on wrong/tone ring alignment is bad, or there’s shit on the sensor (or sensor is bad/aftermarket).

So, if you determined that it's "fixed", what necessitates pulling the fuse?

    lots of dents
instead of brushing my teeth last night i decided to simply pull out a tooth instead. Hindsight a day later, i should have just brushed my teeth. No idea that bruxing was such a problem.

The manual describes how the ABS is designed to operate, yes, but the common ABS issue people experience isn't normal operation of the ABS system. I say this as someone who's dealt with fully functioning ABS which eventually began to act up and engage incorrectly.

The ABS sensors are a magnetic sensor that works off a tone ring on the axle shaft.
The sensor reads the teeth of this tone ring and there is a voltage fluctuation every time a tooth on the gear passes. If the sensor is dirty or not seated correctly, the sensor will read the teeth incorrectly. The main solution for many people is to clean the sensors and re-seat them properly, and change the o-ring on them if it looks damaged. A damaged wiring harness could also be a culprit.
