No worry at all if it's minor adjustments needed. I'm only paranoid about having contact with upper control arm, sway bar, or frame.

The good news is that, you still have options, and in the scheme of things (compared to full lift kits) most of them are not that expensive. I had to abandon the concept of being done with any vehicle a long time ago, but it would be nice if they fit perfectly with no issues.

Just an update on my installation of 285/75R18's (New Falken AT4W)

    My Setup:
    2021 TRD Pro
    Stock Fox Suspension
Stock BBS Forged Pro Wheels (no spacers)
All 6 mud Flaps removed (4 Main FLaps and the 2 Forward Flaps in the Front)

Earlier this week, I had Falken AT4W 285/75R18's installed on my stock 2021 TRD Pro. I was concerned about this choice as the new Falken AT4W's do run taller and wider than pretty much every other model of tire in the size. According to Falkens website they measure to 35.1" Diameter and 11.7" Width, but of course that varies on rim width application. Ultimately I chose this tire based on reviews and the 60K tread life warranty and I wanted an E rated tire. Otherwise I would have chosen the 285/70R18 size. I'm annoyed those are not E rated. I had the tire mounted/roadforce balanced and alignment done at a dedicated custom alignment shop I've dealt with for years and multiple vehicles. I asked to be set as close to zero camber as possible, .07" Toe, and adjust caster to compensate for California Road Crown for straight tracking. They were able to hit my numbers, but had to play with the caster balancing to eliminate tire contact on the frame at the rear side of the tire. It never made contact with the Body Mounts, but past that, it had light contact with the frame. They were able to eliminate the rub on the frame, but that resulted in a light rub on the forward fender liners. All 6 of my mud flpas are removed.

Going to watch the rubbing for a couple weeks to ensure where it needs attention and then will 1st attempt to heat and move the front liner contact area. This portion of the liners seem very thick, so I'm not very confident they can be reshaped. I'd like to avoid just hacking them up by cutting out the contact sections, but we'll see what happens. I guess I also have the option of the front bumper spacer kit, so I might go that route as well.

I also need to keep an eye on that rear frame contact in case there is any aligment drift, because it's still pretty tight.

Tried to be detailed as possible in my post, but feel free to ask questions...

It’s Update Thursday! I wanted to add to my experience. I did not notice and didn’t have rubbing when tires were first installed and in the parking lot. However, after the alignment, and on full lock when going up or down my driveway, my 285/75/18 Duratrak have slight rubbing. I have longer coils and JBA UCAs going on soon, so I’m not messing with it until after those are installed.

Exactly why I always use a dedicated alignment shop. They don't just put the factory number in and hand the car back to you. My shop test drives with full test and keeps tweaking until it's right and then they call me to let me know if there is not enough adjustments to make it right.

They even chalk test and get me the perfect tire pressures before they call me to pick it up.

Don't want to QUOTE myself but getting close to buying something....

I can get the RockTrix in -12mm offset but I don't thinbk I want that as all the other aftermarkt ones with list and tries are +MM ranges.

The Falken AT4W 285/75R18 seem like a good option also. 35.1" tires!

Definitely tire brand and model dependent. The Falken AT4W's are particulary larger in width and height compared to other brands and models

I had to install 1" spacers to eliminate frame rub (not Body Mount) and a lot of modifying and massaging of the front fender liner. I basically modified the liners so that they fit insde the lip of the front bumper cover, rather than outside/underneath the front bumper cover. I currently have no rubbing and considering going to .75" spacers to reduce tire poke

This is true. The nitto ridge graps I got measure to a 34.5" tire. Same size in other brands may measure 35"+
