well thank you all for the Checklist .After over a year I finally got a call my Crew max sport in sonic red was ready. Well with check sheet in hand I came around the corner and the first thing I could see was the 5 or 6 crease like dimples in the rear fender flare, same on both sides. Amazingly, salesman couldn't see them but manager and wife could.Black Vinyl on B- pillar was wrinkled right at the height you would see every time you got in. It only has 17 Km so didnt push it but was underwhelmed by the engine. Definitely felt like a little engine in a big truck . Hood gap was simply all over the map . That sealer on the roof isnt going to work ?, plastic rear inner wheel wells fit was a joke . Sonic red was disappointing considering it was extra $$ , less metallic than I hoped (but thats a personal choice) as I ordered mine before they started producing them . The dealer is going to give me 24 hours to think it over out of courtesy as there is a line up to buy them, My thoughts are that I am going to pass. Most likley I will wait to see magnetic grey one later in production or order Tacoma or GMC Colorado . Truly disappointed in Toyotas effort

hold off and see what the 2023 offer for QC and build improvement, usually second year of production is much better, we will know really soon when they start rolling out.

I ruled out a 2022 since the QC was not put up to par, I think 2023 will be better but we will see

I'm also really hoping this is the case, sold back my '22 because of all the QA issues and was just told that my '23 should be here sometime early 2023 (Jan/Feb).

I'm hoping those extra months of production will help with the Quality issues I've seen and had.

Picking up a 2025 Limited tomorrow morning. Are all of the items listed still relevant or have a lot of these kinks been worked out?

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
No matter what I'd give it the Long Once Over - take pics and don't leave until they agree to repair at once or else.

100%. It’s 3 hours away so it’ll be the first time I see it. Already told the sales manager what the deal is. He sent detailed photos up front of potential problem areas but I’m not signing until I get up under it and get it on the interstate.
