    Hello to all,

i started another thread yesterday about my 2024 Tundra w horrible squealing brakes in the morning. As a result, you guys graciously forwarded a TSB that is suppose to fix the brake issues and i scheduled an apptment w dealer for 11/26/24. However, I have already received 3 email notices and 2 texts re this apptment. I can hardly wait until normal service notices.

What do you guys think of the Toyota software, message system, emails, texts, etc. i performed all of my oil changes on my F150, plugs, coolant changes, filter changes, bc i have a ranch where i can perform such things. i left the tranny flush and turbo cleaning to the shops that handle BG products, i never, in 9 yrs and 129,000 miles had the dealer do anything except recall wk. i changed the synthetic 5W30 oil every 5K, not 10K.

Based on the above, do i need the software on my phone or is there a way to really minimize the onslaught of emails & notices?

Thank you for your experience, feedback & suggestions.

It is the dealer sending those messages.
    Not Toyota corporate.
You should be able to edit your preferences with the dealer.

    Thanks Tim.

Appeciate the clarification. It's the dealership. This is my first auto that's almost entirely run & managed by my phone.

    Thanks again

Just a note. I've been waiting close to 4 months on my dealership to get the parts to fix the TSB for the brake system
