Came into this decade and picked up a 2020 YT Izzo Pro

Appears stock other than tubeless and was setup terribly soft, no wonder why the previous owner heavier than me didn't like it. Flip chip back to high, tires, fork, and shock all aired up properly. Rides and shifts great! Still needs some minor cockpit adjustments and brake service.

Anyone have recommendations on if and how to shorten the cables?
Any recommendations on tires for Southern Indiana rocks and roots - Brown Country State Park trails?

The cables have slack in them for if and when you crash and your bars get tweaked hard to one side or the other.

And it have been over a decade since I messed with cables so I do not remember, but if you ride for real, I wouldnt shorten them.

    Lots of stuff!
I have had DI2 on my bikes for years, just waiting on wireless brakes! :)

I put an Eagle GX ASX setup on my wife'e bike and does that ever clean things up! I am amazed at the tech leaps that have made it into the cycling world.

I've always been a fan of schwalbe tires.

Are you riding on a lot of wet rooty terrain? With wet roots there's not much you can do. Preload your fork right before the rooted section, cross as perpendicular as possible... I've had friends that swear by Continental because they have a softer compounds.

Thanks! I love this bike. I’ll probably just keep updating the components as things advance.

In case anyone is on the fence about upgrading to 203mm rotors. Here’s a comparison with a 180mm.
