Sooo I have read a bunch of threads on this but have not found a definitive answer.
I'm having trouble deciding between the SD and HD kit for my needs. I have a 2019 tundra 2x4. I work for TxDot and drive an average of 300-500 miles a day. Alot of hopping curbs and driving on uneven medians, down and through ditches, as well as alot of highway driving. All with about 1500-2000 lbs of equipment in the bed. I do not notice much squat (maybe an inch when fully loaded) in the back but I do feel the payload when driving on highway or going over city bumps and uneven roads at slower speeds. I may pull a trailer like twice a year but for the most part it's my daily work truck with the described load. I need the stability but not too much of a lift when completely unloaded as I am fully loaded one day and then fully empty the next.
Which kit would y'all recommend for me?

    Thanks!

HD kit all day. You can turn the HD kit down to act like the SD kit, but you can't turn the SD kit "up". For the $40 difference between the two we've always viewed it as an easy choice in that regard.

We've got them over here at Hotshot Offroad as well. Let me know if we can help! It's one of those products that we wish we'd have come up with because with a use case like yours they perform very well.

Definitely the HD kit! That is the only one that should be considered for a Tundra. The HD kit will not hurt your unloaded ride.

HD RAS and drop the rear sway if you have it so the sides can articulate independently. Also, buy from @memario1214 at hotshot offroad

Absolutely the HD kit. I was making the same decision you are about 6 months ago and I chose the SD kit and immediately regretted it. It does help, but it's not strong enough to deal with heavier loads. To be honest, I don't even know why they offer an SD kit when the HD kit can be tuned down, anyway. I haul my 240lb dirtbike on a hitch rack and while it has helped, I wish I had the HD when I'm also loaded up with dirtbike and a full bed of gear.

I should have slowed down and asked around a bit before I made my decision, but I chose to ask them directly and they suggested the SD kit. Need to keep my eyes open for when they have a monster sale and grab the HD kit. I also did rear shackle bushing upgraed a the same time. This seriously reduced the harsh rear bounce when unloaded. Get a free floating bushing...

I think you might be overestimating your weight. I carry a 1650# camper and I'm squatted to within an inch of the bump stops.

I might be doing frame damage at this point.
