Anyone have this issue? Sometimes when I adjust the volume with the steering wheel controls the volume indicator doesn’t go away. Doesn’t happen all the time and when I turn off the vehicle and restart it, it goes away. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen as well. Mildly annoying when it happens.

I got this a few weeks ago. I was using the steering wheel controls to do a few things like volume and change song through CarPlay. When I came to a stop after about 15 minutes, I got the normal question about about pressing the break for auto stop and it went away. That is the only time it has happened. Very annoying. It was soon after my iphone upgraded to the latest major OS release. I'm not sure if that is related.

Just the other day I had sort of the same thing happen: the auto start/stop counter did not go away when the truck restarted when moving from an intersection. To eventually make it “go away”, I clicked on the Lane Keep Assist button on the steering wheel. The”stuck” notification for the auto start/stop counter was replaced with “LKA disabled” message, which then went away - as designed. Strange glitch for sure; no idea what’s triggering it.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there icons showing above the left display? Recently I've noticed mine are gone until I shift between views.

I have had the volume indicator and the auto stop counter stay up on separate occasions. The volume indicator went away after shutting the truck off. I want to say that the auto stop counter went away after I didn't let auto stop activate at a stop light. In both cases, neither window would go away, regardless of what other windows tried to display behind them. I mentioned these two things to the dealership, I even had video of one of them, but since they couldn't replicate it, there was nothing they could do.

I had the same issue with the mic icon. Try pressing and holding the big volume knob to reboot the system

I've had this happen 3 times. Always went away when I turned the truck off and back on.

Good suggestions and glad to see I’m not the only one with the issue. I have the hybrid so no auto start/stop feature or indication on the dash and the volume indicator is the only thing that has gotten stuck on the screen. Unless it happens while the dealer has it I don’t know how they could even diagnose it. I have noticed on a few occasions when I start the truck it skips the intro screen of the national park pictures and just goes straight to the gauges. Not sure if it’s potentially a software glitch or a faulty dash cluster. Have 100k miles to figure it out so I won’t worry about it to much

Have you tried the curved arrow return button to change screens? Just a thought for what it's worth. Hope that works.

Yep, I’ve pushed alot of the buttons to try to get them to go away but didn’t work. What is weird is it’s not frozen as the volume number will increase and decrease when adjusting, it just doesn’t go away sometimes.

Maybe ask the dealer if they can re-install the latest software update when you go in next time?

Happened to me for the first time the other day. Volume stayed on the screen but as soon as i stopped at a light the auto start/stop brake message popped up and when left light it went away. Like it cleared itself....

Yea I’m almost to my 10k so I’ll mention it to them along with the rattling drivers window. Minor problems but still love the truck!
