(((VIBRATING))) Toyota Tundra 2014 RWD 200,000km. Vibration coming thru the body/seat: To address the issue I have replaced with new: Tires, Complete Front Brakes, U-Joints, Carrier Bearing. Vibration starts at low speed around 40kph continues up to hiway speeds. Vibration does not change with a different gear or under deceleration or acceleration. Truck is not driven offroad and has not had any accidents. Q: Diff issue? Was going to check for metal in diff. Maybe put truck on axle stands and drive. Any help or ideas? TIA

    Bent driveshaft?
    Driveshaft out of phase?
Bent wheel? I doubt this because you just had tires put on.
    Shocks worn out?
Any noise coming with the vibration?

    Thanks for the input
Tomorrow I plan to jack the axle onto stand and run it to check for the vibration. I will also check for driveshaft alignment arrows. I may have to get new shocks to at least eliminate those. Vibration does not come with noise
Also this truck has never been worked on except for brakes and tires

He said that it did not change with a different gear or with acceleration or deceleration. Motor mounts would.

If you can feel it in the seat its likely from the rear end. Put it on the jackstands and check for a bent rim, bent axle, bent driveshaft. Tires are new but not always good. But you said the issue was present prior to new tires, so that seems unlikely.

Does the speed of the vibration change with the speed of the vehicle? Typically a vibration from a rotating part increases in frequency with the speed of its rotation.

Oops, carrier has been replaced. Maybe somebody screwed up the u joint bearings or got the driveshaft out of order during reassembly? Those bearings in the caps can be stubborn.

No, that looks like the u-joint was installed incorrectly. The driveshaft should be true.

I had a new set of U joints bad from NAPA in a van. Changed to different brand and vibration went away. Felt in seat.

There is no doubt that the vibration I am feeling is the driveshaft. I returned the vehicle to the garage and they could see the ujoint was not sitting right. A new ujoint was installed and now all good. Even the pros get it wrong
