Anything that’s needed like a small Uhaul to a trailer to camper? My truck is rated for 10k towing and I have a 7.5k ball currently.

Won't be any help with a larger camper or trailer over 5k lbs as you would need the WDH setup for that. Otherwise looks solid, aside from worrying about theft. Maybe swap all the hitch pins for a single key locking set.

I’d personally go with the B&W tow and stow. I have one for years and it’s the hitch I trust.

B&W tow and Stow, Anderson RapidHitch, Curt Adjustable 2 Ball Mount, Weighsafe… These are all quality hitches; I own/have owned all but the B&W and trust them. I personally wouldn’t trust t he Amazon special.

Do you have a link to the Curt adjustable 2 ball mount?

    https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch-Ball-Mount/CURT/C99NR.html

This is the one I’m currently using. It’s not as convenient to adjust as the Rapid Hitch, but not difficult by any means either. It has a small rubber damper that helps eliminate or at least lessen some of the clatter inherent in adjustable hitch mounts. It’s also protrudes a little bit more from the hitch receiver so I can drop my tailgate when hitched up without tagging the tailgate on the trailer jack.

I had a RapidHitch for several years before this one and it was great. I just wore it out and it rattled and clunked too much. I actually think I liked the Rapidhitch a little more, but zero complaints with the Curt. Just don’t let it say hello to your shins…

If I just got one of these, which would work better for my tundra that has a 3.5” lift? On is a 2” drop and the other a 4” drop.

When I first started towing I got a kit from etrailer, Curt I think, basically with both those hitches. Technically that gives you 4 height choices, if you're willing to do the work with giant wrenches to take the ball out and flip the hitch.

That worked for me, but I really only tow one trailer, so I've only ever needed one of them.

Problem with asking the forum "which works better for my truck?" is that the truck is only half the equation. I'll go out on a limb and say if you've got a 3.5" lift, that's pretty big, so the 4" drop is more likely to be the right one. But it depends on the trailer.

Anyway I have no lift, and the 2" drop hitch has worked for me with the two trailers I've towed. 4" is too much for my stock height truck. I'd guess 2" isn't enough for your lifted truck. But...hard to say. Nowadays there are those jacked-up camper trailers that are probably the same height as your truck.

Everyone had to have the Anderson Rapid Hitch till the B&W Tow & Stow came out. Then the Anderson was garbage. Weird, it’s still the same hitch that we all had to have when it came out…

I’ve been using the same Anderson since 2009 without a single issue.

If I were buying new, I’d get a B&W for the stow part, but only if I was a guy that leaves my hitch in. I typically pull mine and toss it in the trailer tongue box, because I don’t want to bang my shins and see no point in leaving it out there just because.

If I found a used Anderson (because somebody needed to buy a new B&W to fit in with the cool kids), I’d buy it all day. Excellent hitch.

OP asked about height. We can’t say since not all trailers are the same. My Tundra is lifted 3” front and 2” rear with 285/75R18 tires. I use 4” drop with my 5x10 utility trailer, and flat with my 20’ flatbed. In my experience, you’ll either have an adjustable ball mount or you’ll have a ball mount for each trailer.

If you are going to be towing often and down the highway I recommend a B&W. If it’s around the blocks few times a year to the green waste disposal drop off than I think you’re ok.
