I have squirrels chewing through the wire near the sensor on my 2008 SR5 Tundra as shown below. This is located right near the charcoal canister (I think that's what the black box thingy is). With this wire separated, my 4 high, 4 low, VSC, and another traction control (??) dash lights flash and I can't engage 4-wheel drive.

Does anyone know what this sensor is? Can I just bypass this sensor or do I need to replace it? The little blue wire coming out of it is too short to connect to it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it's related to the fuel pump.
