    Howdy all,
I bought this thing last week and absolutely love it. It’s got 212 K on it and I paid 15 K for it. It was a Michigan truck all its life, but well maintained. It now calls the Piedmont of North Carolina its happy home. I bought it from Signature in Benton Harbor and they went through the vehicle and changed the water pump and did some exhaust work. They were great to work with.
It looks like it had some suspension work done to it with Camburg parts up front and some leaf springs from a company in Colorado out back. I’m waiting to hear back from the dealer to ascertain exactly what was done by the previous owner. It has a little bit of rust on the frame which I’m going to deal with using OSPHO and the bed needs some work. I’m thinking about cutting out the rust spots and filling the openings with riveted sheet metal and then putting in a bed liner. The biggest spots are no more than 4 inches round. I’ve lined up a used camper top that I’m picking up next week. It will primarily be a work truck for my handyman business but also a weekend camping spaceship All input is welcome and I’m happy to be part of the family.
    :)
