So I am not sure what had happened but my trim around the climate control area has liked fogged over or something. Has anyone encountered this? I have tried some ammonia free glass cleaner and it feels like it made it worse. Any suggestions? Thanks

Looks stained, did you take it to a car wash recently?

Mine has gotten like that after window cleaner was used on it. I used 303 and it came right off.

I use that too. It doesn’t really take it off, it hides the damage. Normal glass cleaner damages plastic

I agree. I've used windex on all those plastic parts without issue.

op, check and see for grins, looks like there is a plastic line towards the right that looks like the edge of the plastic protective film

If there is a protective film on there, it is on there good. I can’t find any areas to try and pull it up

I would have bet money that the film was there. I looked at mine and I guess it's possible the bevel on the outside edge of that piece makes it look like there is film on it.

me too, there is a line about 1/16" of an inch inside the bezel curve that makes it look like a line of the plastic protective film

my OCD wants to try and pry that up, lol., :annoyed:

Yes….but not really sure what this has to do with anything. I have only had the car a month, it is a 2022 and we don’t eat in the car.

    So much for my theory!

That's not a 2021 interior by the way.

Is that a bevel or the edge of protective film? Looks like it could be either. I don’t have a 3rd gen to compare the picture to though.
