I know I may sound old, but I am going to do a stereo upgrade to my Tundra, but I want a manual EQ. So if Im listening and want to adjust the level of the subs, I can just turn a knob also adjust bass mids and high on the fly for the rest of the system without doing it digitally. Again, I know I am old, but has anyone installed anything like this? If so, where did you install it?

Haven’t seen a preamp in a stereo install in ages. They’re built in to the UI of the double din touchscreen radios now. Most of the preamps were single din and went with single din radios.

Sorry I can't help you with specific potential mounting options since I have a 3rd gen, but I will be installing a Clarion EQS746 in the forward pocket/charging cubby in front of the cupholders.
The Clarion has the same form factor (1/2 DIN) and identical control layout as the SKAR EQ you have pictured. There are quite a few 1/2 DIN EQ's on the market with this exact layout.
Depending on the layout and width of your console interior, that may be an option for you that would allow it to be accessible but away from thieves eyeballs.

That's exactly what I am looking for. I think there is space for me to do it in the same spot. Take some pics once you do, if you don't mind. Thank you!!

I have it just sitting here at the moment as I'm just getting started with my JBL audio upgrades.
I'm not 100% committed to this location. It is not in its final position here, but close.
If it does end up here, I would probably make some type of removable "security" cover or camouflage for it so as not to tempt thieves.
I still may install it IN the center console, not sure yet.
