    Hello all,

John here...New Member. Original owner of a 2006 Double cab SR5 4x4 TRD (182K miles), and just purchased a 2025 Limited 4x4 with 3.5L Twin Turbo, the pano roof, tow pkg and TRD OR pkg. Had a choice to buy that or a 2019 Platinum 4x4 with two much rust on the underside... The technology in the 2025 is so great the choice was a no brainer. I drove it off the lot 750 miles from UT direct to my CA driveway. No problem.

I've read everything I could find on the bearing issues and trust Toyota to make a better product than all the others in the 1/2 ton market. I truly appreciate the thread created for those who are not having issues. Helpful post purchase peace of mind for me. Sorry to those who are having problems, and hope you as a faithful Toyota customer are respected by Toyota to get those corrected.

The '06 has had two T-Belts replaced, new headlights, and a new steering rack. Runs super strong and I will never give it up. I also own a 2010 4Runner Limited. No issues. Previously owned a Celica, Supra, Cressida. All great.
