I'm hoping to do an olympic length triathlon next year. I have pain in my left knee and injured my right foot while playing with my dog. So I've just been focused on the swimming part.

It's been quite a journey for me to learn how to swim. As I mentioned on my earlier post, I just started swimming this year and I did the sprint triathlon back in June. I was the last one out of the water. It was only a 450 yard swim but I had to hold the rope/buoy multiple times.

But last week I swam 2250 yards for 50 minutes without pausing. This is just a little over the Ironman 70.3 swim distance of 1.2 miles and 557 meters over the Olympic triathlon distance of 1500 meters. It was a great feeling to finally have this milestone.

Congrats on the tough mudder race. That's quite an accomplishment! Good Luck with the stroller. I hope the course is flat.

    the tough mudder's aren't flat.
but the 5k i'm signing up for is on a blocked off road....so the double jogger shouldn't be an issue.
