I am currently running Toyo Open Country ATIIIs on my 2016 (275/70s). I discovered a sidewall gash and two other tires that have a slow leak. I purchased them through Discount Tire Direct before the merger, and it was as simple as a phone call, and I was sent a check to cover the three tires. None of them are near end of life, but they are definitely wearing pretty good. Overall, I have liked them, but not sure I love the winter or wet traction. I'm torn between taking the money and buying 4 new tires of a different brand, or just buying three replacements and running the last original tire that doesn't have any issues. Obviously the latter has it's downsides (not sure I would want to run a tire long term with a fairly significant tread depth difference. I suppose the third option (might be the best one), would be to buy 4 replacements, and keep the other one for a spare.

I'm open to suggestions for an equivalent tire. I don't do serious off-roading, but I am offroad a fair amount as I live on 200+ acres, and use my truck for hunting, hauling, trailering, etc. I want to stick to a load range E, but do not want crazy highway noise since I commute 40 miles (round trip) daily 95% highway.

use the $ toward a good new set of tires, keep the 1 good old one for the spare.
