Well that didn't work. Put the meter on it and now it's at 323ohm and stuck there since the tank is full. I will give it awhile to see if it comes back like the other members did.
Tank took about 8 gallons to fill up.

By the way, FP is not accessible by removing the bed. It is indeed under the cab of the truck.

FP basket is under the cab, removing the bed won't help with accessing it. I use two jacks (transmission jack and motorcycle jack) to drop my tank when needed, makes it so much easier. I drive up on ramps and that gives me enough room to lower the tank enough to get the basket out.

Well it's official I am a pro at removing the tank in record time, 4 times now. Also stupid for not checking the position of the bucket. At some point the bucket twisted to the side and the float was hitting the side of the tank. At least that what it should be because once again the float worked perfect outside of the tank. I got to looking at the postion and noticed my mistake.

I think I finally killed my wideband O2 sensor after a 2.5 hour trip towing my camper yesterday. It reads full lean at all times. I turned the truck off and it came back on and read for 30 seconds then went back to full lean again. Luckily I just got the SPD midpipes installed and moved it to the passenger bank so I can actually change it out easily unlike the drivers side. I won’t complain too much having put it through hell with a lot of towing and rich AFR for 23k miles. This thing sounds insane btw with these midpipes. It’s a hoot.

i was getting good at it too when my truck would initially fire over come to find out not enough fuel in the tank to get in the tub of the pump. had to get everything in place and then pour some gas into the bowl, locked it up and fired over

I use a cheap HF Transmission jack, and a floor jack, have it down to a science (after multiple drops) Haven't needed to since September '23, fingers crossed.

Same, I got the HF trans jack back when I had my Tacoma and had the tank down every other weekend it felt like...I got the motorcycle jack for helping on the Tundra, 2 jacks is where it's at!

Mandatory SC-related content: I finally got the supercharger off to put on the spacers and the heat shielding, and found a surprise, gaskets for #3 and #6 were ripped to shit, so I get to hunt those down now...joy!

What's the spacer made of? I remember back when I had my 06 Silverado SS SC there were spacers made for the LS engines to avoid heat transfer for the heads to the blower. It was a brown material. Looked like a piece of wood with dark varnish. Obviously it wasn't but it looked just like it. Do we know how much heat it will shed from this?

They make a spacer out of Delrin, but I opted for the aluminum version so it would hopefully be easier to tap ports for water/meth or additional IAT sensor. I figured the increased space would allow for more airflow under the SC and the addition of a thermal shield on the bottom should help keep temps down.

Interesting, get the derlin one, more torque but would affect the fit of the belt to supercharger, so maybe a combo of the 1 inch derlin spacer, maybe the stock maggy belt will work with sniv's 76mm pulley.

I don't know, I forget the belt length for the smaller pulleys but I doubt it's enough to make up for a 2" belt length difference. That's a lot of belt, usually the pulley belts are fractions of an inch shorter.

Maybe the 65mm pulley would work though :D

I have a K081196HD that I will install with the spacer, it's 1.9" longer than the K081177HD, so I'm hoping it works out.

Anyone installing a Harrop, replace the PCV valve while it's apart. The water neck has a recess for the hose, but not enough for a socket. Mine came out in 2 pieces, with one now living in the intake valley below.

Trying a couple things to "fix" the Radium gen 2 catch can, starting with a PCV, then adding an extension tube with more steel wool where the ball check used to be. ~10K in and I've never found more than a dampness inside.

I also noticed the Radium hose is super hard for something that's supposed to carry crankcase gases. May replace with silicone or other fuel rated hose when it's apart next time.

I noticed that when I installed my catchcan that it looked damn near impossible to get to the PCV valve. I’ll keep kicking that can down the road a bit longer.
