    Hi everyone!, just another old school Toyotas fan over here, greetings from Naples Fl!‍♂️…quick question gentleman’s…having a hard time trying to find/make/install a roof basket for my truck, of course without fall into a bankruptcy lol!!…any help/ideas?….i think at some point 1st gen are not designed for it, but i saw a bunch of nice rigs and i will love to have something similar to this…

    Welcome aboard sir! Assuming you want it over the truck cab, roof basket install would be the same as most pickups. Either clamp style bars or drill holes for mounts. Both have been done. Roof baskets are not too expensive new, and they are cheaply available all over marketplace.

    The cross bars, stays, and fithooks are the three main components. Then you can add other items like a fairing, roof basket, or kayak mounts.
