Pfffff. I "never" have to fix my shit. The only breakage that weekend was @JakeJake ripping his taillights off.

    Adult supervision needed...:monocle:

My Tundra has been working and I picked up a sidewall "ouch"... not flat but tires purchase will be in the very near future...

Dilemma is my preferred Michelins are serious $$$$...Defender LTX M/S

And my local shop has Nitto Terra Grappler G2's $62 @ piece cheaper and Toyo Open Country H/T2's @ $90 @ less...

Who here has experience with the latter two ???

Warranty is spot on same and the Toyo's are the heaviest of the 3 BUT real Life results from here might save me a $$$ or two..

    Enjoy your Sunday evening ...

For what little time I had with those they did great. Traded current tundra after only having 10k on them so can't really comment on longevity.

My uncle has the terra grappler and likes them. He's mainly freeway use traveling from Arizona to PNW

5100s all around, 295-70-18 Defenders, BD reverse lights, de-badged, interior LEDs, footwell LEDs, reverse LEDs, ARE cap, front receiver hitch for cooler holder, cooler holder/rod rack, backup camera, Kenwood HU, Tyger nerf bars, Husky floor liners, folding rear seats, remote battery posts, plastidip grill chrome, Powder coat bumpers.
I would go with Defenders regardless of cost. Always got double the warrenty mileage. Wort the short term savings.

    Thanks all ...

If I was doing over 10000 miles a year the Michelins would be an easy decision BUT the other two have decent mileage warranties....

When time comes I'll try my tire guys patience and end up with one of those 3 ....

Con's in my ear reminding me I am fond of my Michelins and the whole set for "Tundy" equals steer tires for the Peterbilt o_O ;)

    THE BEST IRISH COFFEE...
    Testing Complete!!!

Ok folks, my apologies for the delay on this report... but this process took a few unexpected turns during the testing process, and I ended up having to make some adjustments using coffees and whiskeys that I did not expect to be at the top of my 'favorites' list. So, I will get the 'final report' out in the next couple of days w/the recommended recipies attached. In the mean time, here are a couple of pics from my kitchen during the process....

One of the 'setups' w/brown sugar in the TM cups and on standby and waiting for the hot coffee to finish steeping...

Beaver Nuggets: The official palet cleanser during the tasting process

Coffee brewing in progress via French Press; and yes exact measurements were important during testing to keep this consisent and to be able to duplicate the recipe...

A little hint at the wife's favorite...

    To be continued...
