Trying to determine the best shocks for a nice ride on my Tundra. I’m not looking for an off road machine, just want a nice ride without bounce on hard bumps and good control. Trouble I have had is there seems to be a mixed bag of positives and negatives for all of them. I have always liked the yellow Bilstein’s on my other car but a lot of people here seemed to comment the are kinda rough on the Tundra. One trend I did notice is a lot of people said the Eibach had a really nice ride. Anyone used these and liked them?

i should also add I have airbags, (no lift kit) and I do tow an 8000lb 35 foot trailer about 6 times a year.

@memario1214 has both on his site, and the black is cheaper for him too. Maybe he has some feedback to provide between their differences.

I have the Eibach Stage 2 kit. Front coilers and rear shocks. I got these because the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo was brand new and out of stock EVERYWHERE. I don't regret getting the Eibach though! Rides very very smooth on paved roads and handles the normal on-road humps and bumps well. Off road leaves a little to be desired but considering I drive 90% on road these are fine for now.

As far as the black or chrome I have no idea. My rear are chrome and don't have any complaints. Also, I have no lift in the rear and adjusted the front coilovers so I get just under 2.5" of lift in the front.
