    Hey guys,

I recently got this 2016 Tundra sr5 4x4, and I've noticed a weird rattle in the rear after about 10mph. It doesn't seem consistent as the noise is always kind of different, I went under there and smacked on some of the heat shields and whatnot, but I cannot figure out what it is. also note, I put the stopper on after I got the truck but the rattle was around before that was on, so its not that. But imo, it sounds like a little metal clank. I can't hear it when the windows are up, but when I roll down the back window it gets louder. It also seems to me like its coming more out of the passenger side.

Today I got my mufflers changed out because before there was a rattle with those, but the noise that I've experienced is still here.

Hopefully this video would give you some more insight -

Spare tire chain, rock in a leafspring perch, heatshield, are my guess.

I put the spare tire chain up in a way that it won't rattle around and I still got the noise.

I have the same noise in my truck (2019) as well it almost sounds as if it’s something from either the floor jack under the rear seat or something to do with the rear window (have a crewmax) or maybe neither of those. Would be interesting to find out what’s going on as I assumed it was probably something specific to my truck only. To note I can hear mine windows up or down and only seems to be coming from passenger side also

Were you able to figure it out? I still haven't been able to.

Don't happen to have a ball hitch in your receiver do you? They can rattle some.
