Was thinking the same,I've seen the clear matte finish with a diffused flame type pattern on a darker colored vehicle, not my style but pretty bad ass looking.

Mine is white and that hood bend is one EPIC FAILURE. I predict after Toyota has a few lawsuits from causing wrecks they install something for free.

this is the way to go. I don't want anything on my hood. Great thinking. I will call a local tint shop. Thank you!

@Ruger19 I took your suggestion and did the same thing to my truck. Worked like a charm. No more glare.

Did that on my 22. My 24 is Lunar rock, didn't have the glare like super white. Glad it worked out for you.

Full Expel PPF in satin black, Halo Ceramic, tinted windows including windshield,JB4 tuner, Bonoss 1 1/4' wheel spacers, Bakflip MX4 cover, lift assist air bags, Wescott 3/1 lift and 37/12.5/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the way.
Full Expel Ultimate PPF in Satin over black :) works well.
No glare here and surprisingly easier to keep clean.
