Just finished my rear lift from the suspension package I got.

These 4 washers came in the packaging and I can’t seem to figure out what they go to. Anyone have the same leftovers?

The front struts and coils came pre assembled, and the rear leaf came with a new center bolt.

The rear shocks were put together the same way the 4600’s were installed. (They were original and very tired, but not leaking)

    It's rear lift only?

A number of times similar comes with front struts which are intended to raise the front bump stops.

Care to tell us what kit, so we can maybe try to grasp at straws to figure out what/why? It's not some Rough Country trash, is it? I found their instructions to be lackluster at best. Strangely similar to their products.

There weren’t any in the packaging and for some reason I didn’t see that page online.

I had instructions leftover from my 4runner lift I did and it didn’t have bump stop washers so I kinda went off of when I did that job a year ago.

Just spin the (can’t remember if it’s the forward most or rear most they recommend) front suspension spacers off and add the two washers, spin back on.

I'm just giving you hell.

Bilstein has copies of all manuals online, but I usually hit up Summit Racing any time I need one. Here's a copy, if you want to review your work just to make sure there's nothing else you missed: https://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/bsn-24-261425.pdf

The biggest issue people usually have is with the stacking of the washers on the rear. I believe your stack is right.

    I definitely wasn’t thorough enough!

I will review that, since I’ve been paranoid I’m missing stuff as I’m test driving down the road.

I spent a few minutes confirming the stack order, most annoying part is I can’t get a torque wrench on the top, so I hope it’s tight/compressed enough.

Don't bother with torque. For both the rear shock upper bushings and your swaybar bushings (which are totally fucked, btw, someone compressed them waaaaay too hard for too long!), you pretty much want to tighten just to the point you start to see the sidewalls go from vertical | to bulge )

And actually, If you get to the point where they're as bulged as these parenthesis (_) then you've compressed them too much. Somewhere about halfway between being that that squashed and being totally vertical is the limit of how far you want to compress. Over-compression with poly bushings will lead to them fracturing/tearing/disintegrating (especially if you don't use poly-safe lube anywhere the poly touches metal), and with rubber bushings it'll lead to fatigue/deformation/cracking/failure.

That's good to know, I always just tightened until it "felt" right. I will have to back mine off a little with this new info.
