After months of reading a bunch of different comments & opinions on this forum about the Gen3’s with its issues (engine recall, cracked seat panels, fob’s etc, etc, etc…) & some about how they love these trucks, made the hesitation on pulling the trigger on a new Tundra real!

I’m sure there might be others reading & researching these vehicles as I did, just my 2cents is this, 1 person is going tell 10 others about there bad experiences, vs 1 person telling far less about there good experience.

After beating myself up with what to do, buy or not, I finally pulled the trigger (believe it or not my wife is who finally convinced me to buy!!)

2024 Platinum TRD (Used w/ 380miles).. absolutely love it! I think of it this way, ya there’s some with hiccups (some of those hiccups are nothing to take lightly) but it’s a Yota, what could possibly go wrong other vehicles have there own issues. With a 7yr 100k warranty it helps a little for a restful night. Fingers crossed, hopefully no hiccups.

Congrats! Was pretty much in the same exact boat / decision tree as you. Got my new Limited just this past weekend.

Congratulations! I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Picked up my 24 Limited a month or so ago, very happy with it.
All manufacturers have issues from time to time, but i came from Ford, with endless recalls & problems in only 30k miles I'm more than happy to move to Tundra.
