    Hello

I have the standard SR5 with the bench bucket seats.

Recently replaced the broken down foam and added support in a few areas.

Ok its not going to work overtime. The seats in the Honda are far more suitable, so its time to look at a swap from something else. Since the attachment points on the floor are flat, a similar design from another car is going to be the ticket.

Anyone make a swap that works? Perhaps there is a fully electric adjustable swap that some one has done. Experienced wrenches, what have you done?

    thanks

    WW

I think the easiest route would be to have your stock seat rebuilt and reupholstered by a professional shop. I've done that several times with other trucks. In the grand scheme of things, it was fairly painless from a cost standpoint, and made the whole truck smell new again.

+1 for reupholster, or at least rebolster.

Alternate take 1: Swap captains chairs in from another truck.

Alternate take 2: Find your preferred seats from another vehicle and bolt them onto a stock captains chair base, this is what we'd do in the vintage/hotrod world.

Don't overthink it. Path of least resistance and cost is 'Alternate take 1'.
