I just got a 2011 Rock Warrior. Do any of you use a ScanGauge? I have a Scangauge II in my '97 Tacoma and I'm debating about getting one for the Tundra.

I love my scangauge 3 it's super handy and it can even read tire pressure in my 07.I wish it was just a bit smaller but that's just my nitpicking.

I was looking at it for my Tacoma, because I need a new one, but it is a little large for the steering column.

IKR .My ex 09 with less mileage couldn't pass 13-14 and this beat up 07 did daily 18-19 on my work commute with 33s. Now switched to 34.5s and dropped to 15-16 but still happy with that.

So how does this thing calculate fuel mileage? Does it read actual real time fuel consumption?

I believe via injector pulses and tire revolutions. So if you've changed tire size (or injector size) it will throw off the calculation.

My tires are ~3% larger in circumference than stock, so I add 3% more miles before dividing by gallons used.

I was really looking for trans temps and tire pressures, which work great.

But has anyone been able to get the tire temperatures to work on their SG?

I'm rocking SG2. Maybe I need to run thru the code list again. I seem to remember there being 4 or 5 sets.

I'd love to see the tire temperatures along with the pressures.
