    Hello,
i have a 2019 tundra trd pro with the harrop supercharger with d3 tuning and smaller pulley. I also switched to 35 inch tires but liked the stock trd pro wheel so went with nitto ridge grappler 35x12.50R18LT F 128Q.

i was wondering if i should do a rear locker and do a regear. If so then what gear should i get. What would the benefits be?

Most would say Powertrax ls for the rear with 5.29. I'm running 35's with stock 4.30's magnuson and don't notice any issues.

I have a powertrax with stock gears and 34s and basically the same blower setup. I didn’t feel the expense for the gears was worth it with the blower, but if you got the cash it’s not a bad idea while you’re getting the powertrax installed. I’d have done it if the expense was half the price. The powertrax is must have for these trucks in my opinion though!

    Too many mods to come
I think 5.29s and blower is too much gear. You don’t take advantage of the tq the blower makes. 4.88s on a whipple and smaller pulley and it does well on the old man’s rig. My truck has stock gears

Rey is wrong :D 5.29s fuck. Gearing felt like as much of a change as adding a stock blower. Absolutely zero issues, though over 100mph it starts to lose steam but it'll keep on pulling past 120.

The powertrax is better suited for how I use my truck. It sees a lot more time on road than off. I like that the powertrax is always there at play working to keep traction and I don’t have to remember to push a button. It’s also safer in the rain and snow than an engaged locker. Offroad wise it has also made the truck more capable than I even need I would say. Also, it’s more affordable than a locker and no wiring is involved. If it was a dedicated low speed trail rig I’d prefer a locker for that.

Which of those did you purchase? The limited slip or locker?

ARB makes an air locker, can't remember who makes the e-locker/magnetic locker at the moment. Powertrax makes a torsen gear LSD. There is another torsen LSD (Speed something?) but I forget the name. There is also a clutch LSD (Auburn) but may prematurely wear on SCed trucks.

I'd get the LSD and pick up traction bars. If that doesn't do the trick, add gears.

The LSD install should cost the same regardless if you get gears since the entire differential carrier is replaced so it's effectively a fresh install with used gears if you don't replace them.

Flip side is you have to do the front differential gears which is generally more expensive labor wise than the rear, but that is ultimately where you're saving money.

I had my gears and LSD installed about 18 months ago. I believe my labor cost was $1,600 all together.
I supplied the gears and differential.

Hey boss, I’m on 5.29’s currently, and blower going on soon! You running anything besides the Harrop & smaller pulley? Fuel rails, injectors, or intake bits?
