I can't get my doors to lock with either of the switches on the driver or passenger sides. I can manually lock and unlock them but the switches have never worked. It doesn't make any sound at all when the button is pressed, so I assume its some electrical issue. My power windows work so I ruled out the fuse being the cause. I also doubt it is the switches themselves, any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

    * I should also add that the driver side switch is brand new and both of the switches get power

Lock actuator or the switch is fucked.

If *NONE* of the power locks fire off, this is purely electrical, the chances more than one actuator would die at the same time is super slim.

Stupid check 1: Look under the driver's side of the dash. Check for any evidence wires have been spliced, or there was (or still is) and aftermarket car alarm installed, especially with you having a 2000-year model.

Stupid check 2: After checking There's a wire harness (or two?) plugged into the bottom of the driver's side control. Verify one/both are plugged in. Even if they are plugged in, unplug each one, then re-plug 2x-3x. Test again.

If the power door locks and power windows don't work, I think the fuse for those (in the dash) is "PWR" or "POWER", which covers the seats/windows/locks (going from memory). That circuit should be tied to one of the square (with window on top) fuses in the fuse/relay box next to the battery.
