Today I added GM style towing mirrors that also have a reverse light option which isn't part of the main connector plug. It come with small connector with pos/neg wire for this option.

How do I figure out which wire to connect to the positive for both driver and passenger side? I'm unsure where to find this wiring diagram.

You have to run that yourself. Nothing for it to connect to.

Boost has some great videos that show how to wire their mirrors. Your may be a different brand but the reverse light will wire up the same no matter the brand. @2020Platinum has good videos, not sure if he goes thru the process of wiring the reverse light but you should now have enough info to find a video that will help you.

It then just depends how you want them to function. I did not want them coming on every time I went into reverse so mine are connected to a switch.

But I had someone good with electrical help so I can not provide more advice. I'm bad with the wire stuff.

That is a good point. I have an extra switch so maybe I should do the same.

A lot. See my channel for all installs/mods!
I actually show both options in my video. I also didn’t want to have them come on every time I put truck in reverse, I had em to a switch as well. But I do go over how to wire them to truck and where to tap into. Let me know if I can help at all!

Installed these Amazon ones, Driver's side reverse lights are significantly dimmer than the passenger side. Checked wiring, thinking it's a faulty mirror. Have a replacement on the way. Anyone else seen a similar issue with the cheap ones?
