Hello has anyone had this happen where the truck starts to try to shift into 4H/4L mid driving? It never does luckily due to safeguards the dealership said. They ordered parts and told me to keep driving it... I'm skeptical because I feel that this issue is going to cause more damage and later down the line Toyota won't honor it and fix it. This is the 3rd issue so far in less than a year I'm starting to regret my purchase tbh

To be on the safe side I would get the service department to put it in writing that you can operate the truck until parts are available. I might even go as far as to contact Toyota directly and get a name, date and time of contact that states it's ok. Just to be safe.

I asked that day and the manager came over and assured me it was fine. I didn't get anything in writing. I've always had fords and I know they're somewhat unreliable BUT the fricken service was always top notch. Also bumper to bumper meant that. They won't fix the volume nob or window trim that has just fallen off ...

Sorry to hear your having problems AGL22. By chance is there another Toyota dealer close that would address the window trim or vol nob. This definitely sounds like warranty items. As far as the radio / vol nob goes there have been others complain of the same thing.
