Chrome deletion help

I have a 2018 midnight black tundra limited and it’s a chromed out nightmare. I am struggling with finding the items below!

1. Grill with (Toyota letters), bulge, and surround that’s NOT and overlay! And the bulge lights.

2. replacement for the chrome cup holder trim. I want a black one and as well for the shifter that is also NOT an overlay.

3. Blackout replacement for the exterior lettering for the 5.7 v8, limited, 4x4 and tundra decal lettering and door handles to black.

4. any ideas outside of Amazon for a blue shift knob/handle replacement also? I’m looking for a feminine one but with a masculine touch if that makes sense.

5. The right screen replacement for Apple CarPlay use

6. I’m open to any other swap suggestions as well!

AJT Design will probably be your best bet for all of your interior pieces. You can buy the pieces individually or they have the entire chrome delete kit that comes out slightly cheaper then buying individual.

Re: #4 You can get one of the shift knobs from here and buy custom color screws/bolts to give it that "feminine" taste.

Which Pro style grille are you wishing to swap to? There are two styles...


The bottom one which is the newer style has a mounting location for the sensor but you'll want to get that garnish below the "TOYOTA" that covers the sensor. That small piece of plastic can cost like $300 from the dealer but many will say aftermarket may or may not work.

The top grille doesn't have anywhere to mount your sensor so you would need to find a way around that.

 

The TSS sensor relocation depends on which grille you are getting.

So currently your sensor is mounted right behind that bubble Toyota. Looks like this behind there...


The new grille mounts the sensor right behind that small panel below the letters.

 

Ahhh ok! So when I get the mesh grill with the “TOYOTA” I’ll need the garnish below it.

For the blackout for the exterior, most Toyota parts departments have overlays, in black, for the 4x4/Tundra/Limited for like 60 or 70 bucks. I am desperately looking for a TRD grille with the Toyota script as well, just to be a cool kid lol

You'll find an endless amount of people wanting their trucks to be blacked out.

Kok sells only the insert piece so it would require you to separate the insert from the surround so you would have to use your current surround but since it's chrome and your trying to get rid of chrome you'd have to find a matching surround. When you buy OEM it comes with the surround attached as one piece.

Blacked out is easy to compliment. But if it didn’t have all this chrome it would be different

can I pick your brain for exterior door handle replacement to anything but chrome lol?

 

Is your truck a CrewMax? You said you don't want the overlays, right?
