    Pretty much everything
Okay so I know this isn’t a common thing to bypass and I will be fixing ac. However when my ac compressor started coming apart it would have been really nice to be able to look up. Instead of having to go to the parts store and try several different belts. If you need to bypass ac of want to delete it you’ll need a belt 73.5” long and 8 ribs however I was only able to get a 7 rib. I’m not sure if they just didn’t stock it or if they don’t make it but that’s the size that would be perfect. The routing essentially stays exactly the same just not going around ac anymore. In the photo below the green will be the only difference with the shorter belt

God bless whoever posted this WONDERFUL hack!! Luckily I have a second vehicle, but it still really sucked not having my truck drivable!
I do all the maintenance and repairs myself, I’m not gonna go to a ac repair shop and have them tell me I need a whole new system for $2,000 when all I needed was a bearing ( hopefully that’s all it is) but to the point - NOW MY TRUCK IS DRIVABLE and I have time to think about the repair.
AutoZone has the belt 73.5” and the 7 rib works just fine - I just made sure the belt was all the way toward the radiator on all the pulleys.
This guy saved me and was the only information on the subject I could find!!
I owe this guy a beer!!! THANK YOU!!
